CSG NEWS: President Brad Howard Elected ANC Commissioner
WASHINGTON – Corcoran Street Group (CSG), a leading Washington, D.C.-based lobbying and public affairs firm, is proud to announce that its president and founder, Brad Howard, has been elected to represent District 1E01 (Park View) on the District of Columbia’s Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC).
Howard’s election adds a new dimension to his extensive career in public policy and communications, which spans more than 15 years and includes service in the Obama Administration, New Orleans City Hall, and the U.S. Congress. As an elected official, he will now serve as a direct advocate for his neighbors, addressing community needs with both the city and federal government.
“As an ANC commissioner, I will work tirelessly to elevate the voices of Park View residents and advocate for meaningful change that improves quality of life in our neighborhood,” said Commissioner-Elect Howard, who assumes office on Jan. 2, 2025. “This role complements my work at Corcoran Street Group, deepening my understanding of how local, state, and federal policies intersect and strengthening my ability to serve our clients effectively.”
Howard’s priorities on the ANC include advocating for public safety enhancements, supporting small businesses, improving infrastructure, and ensuring Park View remains a vibrant and inclusive community. This hands-on experience in building consensus and navigating complex government systems will enhance his ability to advise clients and expand his network of relationships across government and civic leadership.
“This new role reflects Brad’s unwavering commitment to public service and his unique ability to connect community priorities with actionable solutions,” said CSG Co-Founder & Political Director Sally Adams. “His dual perspective as both a government relations expert and an elected official will allow him to provide even greater strategic insight to our clients.”
The Advisory Neighborhood Commissions serve as a vital link between residents and government, addressing issues such as public safety, development, and municipal services. Howard’s leadership on ANC 1E01 will not only benefit his community but also further position Corcoran Street Group as a firm deeply attuned to the challenges and opportunities facing state and local municipalities and companies and organizations navigating hyperpartisan environments.
